Henrico-based company sells Florida office tower

Lingerfelt CommonWealth Partners LLC, a real estate investment management firm based in Henrico County, announced Wednesday that is has sold Riverplace Tower — an office tower in downtown Jacksonville, Fla. — for $53.4 million.

It bought the 28-story building, at 1301 Riverplace Boulevard, for $29 million in October 2014.

Lingerfelt CommonWealth will continue to operate the 441,000-square-foot building for the new owner. Commonwealth Commercial Partners, the company’s property management affiliate, will handle the day-to-day asset and property management. Jones Lang LaSalle will continue to handle the leasing and marketing of Riverplace Tower.
